Oil on Linen

At times, whilst drawing and painting Chris, I nearly fell off my chair with laughter! Such a quick wit touched with the wonder of the absurd! Having got to know him through doing the drawing, I realised that an animated pose for the oil was more like Chris. The three equations represent the different areas of research that his career has taken.
