Oil on Linen

Jacqueline’s house was a visual feast. She has books galore, and lots of animals, dolls, notes and cards from the children who write to her. The newly-converted garage where Jacqueline perched amongst floor-to-ceiling bookshelves became, by the end of the portrait, so cluttered with books on the floor that my easel and paints could only just fit in!
